The War for L'Manberg Independence was an era of war between members of the Dream Team SMP. Wilbur Soot and TommyInnit had plans for a drug empire, which members of the Dream SMP thwarted. In response, Wilbur gathered a few of his friends and created a new independent nation, L'Manberg, seceding from the Dream SMP. In return, Dream declared war.

July 24, 2020

• Wilbur Soot re-joins the SMP and starts a potion "drug empire" with the help of TommyInnit. Wilbur builds the Camarvan and makes it their base of operations.
  • Sapnap and Purpled try to stop Wilbur and Tommy from dealing drugs.
  • Fundy, Tubbo, Eret, and Ponk also discover the Camarvan, which starts a small conflict.
  • In the end, Purpled decides to kill everyone for betraying him and Sapnap, while most of the others end up helping Tommy and Wilbur.

July 29, 2020

• Wilbur, tired of how the Americans keep thwarting his plans, proposes revolution to Tommy and Tubbo, and the three conspire to create L'Manberg, an independent faction within the Dream SMP.
  • Wilbur, Tommy, and Tubbo start establishing borders by building yellow and black concrete walls around their new country.
  • Dream visits L'Manberg. He says that as long as L'Manberg still remains a part of the Dream SMP server and is not independent, L'Manberg will not be attacked and Tommy's home can act as an embassy.
• Dream and Sapnap execute Tommy and Tubbo in response to Wilbur and the rest of L'Manberg writing a Declaration of Independence. Dream declares war on L'Manberg, starting the Dream Team SMP vs. L'Manberg War.
  • The Dream SMP side of the war is composed of Dream, George, Sapnap, and Punz.
  • The L'Manberg side is composed of Wilbur, Tommy, and Tubbo. Fundy and Eret also join, and Fundy is officially declared as Wilbur's son.

July 30-August 1, 2020

• Tommy starts to build a fight club underneath his front yard but never completes it.
• Eret upgrades L'Manberg's borders by building tall blackstone brick walls. Some structures such as a small stone rocket ship and a hut are also constructed within the walls.
• Tommy, Tubbo, and Eret start preparing for war, with Tubbo collecting blaze rods to create potions.
• Dream, George, and Sapnap burn trees, form giant cobblestone walls, and build TNT cannons around L'Manberg. They fire a few warning shots into the walls while Eret observes.
• Dream and Sapnap burn down Tubbo's old house and Dream gives his famous speech, which has the lines: "I wanna see white flags, white flags outside your base by tomorrow, at dawn, or you are DEAD!"
• Fundy and Eret trap Dream's secret base by excavating a pit underneath the floor, but Tommy ends up falling victim to it in a later stream.
• Tommy and Tubbo are ambushed by Dream and all of Tubbo's potions are destroyed.
• Dream, Sapnap, and Punz blow up the L'Manberg Embassy (Tommy's base) and partially destroy the Cuck Shed. Dream gives a final warning for L'Manberg to surrender.
• Sapnap steals all of the emeralds from Tubbo's jungle base, where Tubbo's villagers are located.

August 2, 2020

• As the war begins, Tubbo gets repeatedly killed by George and Sapnap. Tommy and Tubbo die when surrounded in the Power Tower.
• The L'Manberg Embassy is blown up again and the Battle of the Two Towers takes place. The Dream SMP team retreats and the L'Manbergians believe they have won the battle.
• Eret tells the L'Manbergians he has more resources. He leads them back into L'Manberg and into his hidden Final Control Room. Tommy then presses a button in the middle of the room, opening doors in the walls that reveal the Dream SMP team. The L'Manbergians realize Eret has led them into a trap and are swiftly killed, losing all their items. Eret delivers his famous line, "Down with the revolution, boys. It was never meant to be."
• Dream meets with Wilbur at the blown-up embassy and orders L'Manberg to surrender. Wilbur refuses by giving his iconic "independence or death" speech. In response, Dream sets off a TNT trap that blows up a large portion of L'Manberg and partially destroys the Camarvan.
• The L'Manbergians take refuge inside Tommy's obsidian bunker, which is underneath the Camarvan. Wilbur makes the decision to surrender to Dream. He tells Tommy not to do anything rash during negotiations, but Tommy ends up challenging Dream to a bow duel.
  • If Tommy wins, Dream will grant L'Manberg independence, but L'Manberg will still be considered part of the Dream Team SMP.
  • If Tommy loses, Dream will get Mellohi, one of Tommy's prized music discs.
• Tommy and Dream have the half-heart bow duel on the wooden path outside of Punz's walls and Dream wins.
• Tommy, as a last resort, gives Dream both of his prized music discs, Cat and Mellohi, to secure independence for L'Manberg.
• Wilbur writes up a new Declaration of Independence, which is witnessed by the Dream Team. He promotes Tommy to the Treasury of State and Tubbo to the Secretary of State.
• Due to his involvement in the war, Eret is officially crowned as King of the Dream SMP.
• With the new Declaration signed, the L'Manberg War comes to an end. The L'Manbergians claim victory because they won independence; the Dream SMP side claims victory because L'Manberg is still technically part of the Dream SMP rather than its own server.
