Technoblade is a friend of the Dream Team. There is a running rivalry joke between him and Dream, as they both compete against each other in competitions.
Technoblade posted on his Twitter account that after his Potato War with im_a_squid_kid, he would start a “training arc” to beat Dream in their next matchup. Techno stood true to his words, beating Dream 6-4 for $100,000, although they agreed to split the money.
Technoblade logged on to the Dream Team SMP for the first time on Tuesday, September 22nd, helping TommyInnit and Wilbur Soot after the SWAG2020 vs POG2020 Election.
MC Championship
In MC Championship #9, Technoblade got his revenge for MC Championship #5, attaining 2nd place overall in the tournament as Dream was left not even in the leaderboard after a humiliating failure in Survival Games and Sands of Time. Despite this, his team (Aqua Axolotols) only got 3th place overall, mostly because of a poor showing by his teammates, first-timers F1nn5ter and Spifey.
Dream Team SMP
In the Dream Team SMP, when TommyInnit and Wilbur Soot were on the run from Jschlatt after Jschlatt revoked Tommy's and Wilbur's citizenship in Manberg (formerly known as L'Manberg), he tweeted "@Tommyinnit @WilburSoot so I heard you guys might need some assistance".
Technoblade ended up joining the server, assisting TommyInnit and Wilbur Soot in their endeavors. It is unclear whether Techno is truly loyal to the cause, as an accidental message from Schlatt to Tommy, along with information from Tubbo, would lead many to believe that he'd been paid to eventually betray Wilbur and Tommy. Technoblade denied these, saying that if he'd truly been payed to kill Wilbur and Tommy, he would have easily done it already.
On Wednesday Technoblade got messaged by Dream. he said that he wanted to help but had to remain in the shadows. He then gave Technoblade supplies and left. Technoblade attained full Netherite armour by the end of his 2nd day on the server, on his stream. He also constructed a secret base for his enchanting table and storage. Eret gave Technoblade a tour of the Dream Team SMP on his way back to his base after mining, and he encountered Purpled when he was in the nether.
